A massive temporary broadcast complex was constructed on Miami Beach to serve as remote national broadcast locations for over 12 shows during the week leading up to the Super Bowl. A team of 10 supported the lighting needs for the complex. Each of these outdoor studios was equipped and designed for flexibility and fast change overs between shows and the challenge of broadcasting live during various times of day.

Travis Shupe worked closely with Lighting Designer Beth Fowler to provide broadcast lighting for several locations within a temporary studio space built on the concourse level of Mercedes-Benz stadium. This studio served as the main anchor desk for CBS Sports coverage of the live national broadcast.
